This spring breeeze is getting me pretty stoked for COACHELLA-ELLA-ELLA-AAAAAAY! HAHA, LINE UP IS SIIICK And their website is also nicely put together (: Very cool banner, thought it was a good idea to do a graphic of what the place will potentially look like as opposed to one of the artist flashing their bling to convince us to spend money we may or may not have to come watch them flash it around. Can’t wait for that Guetta & Flying Lotus come saturday, and if I listed everyone else I love, we would be here forever, so check it out yourself:

Friday April 16-18 = best weekend of your life! COACHELLA’s gonna blow your mind. go buy your tickets! See ya there (:

So today my mom got this letter from Vanity Fair Magazine. For those who don’t remember or didn’t read my previous post “Vanity Fair Isn’t So Fair” they kept sending these “pay now” notices even though she had already paid to renew her subscription AND she even called them twice so they could update their records but they kept sending notices via snail mail.

Anywho, the letter says that they received her letter and want to thank her for bringing the “situation” to their attention blah blah blah. The funny thing is, they didn’t need to send this. Again they are just wasting paper. All they needed to do was stop sending “pay now” notices. They missed the point about helping to save our resources (paper, postage etc) … Vanity Fair isn’t So Smart.

Photo booths believe it or not, are actually one of my favorite forms of photography. It catches candids almost better than a photographers, and does not settle for do-overs; it seizes real laughter and sometimes even the best color!

Polite in Public is a Los Angeles based company reinventing event photography. Oscar Parties, red carpet movie premiers, music festivals, corporate events, private parties, Paris Hilton’s Parties, President Obama’s election wrap-party – you name it, they’ve shot it! It’s not your typical photo booth, there are no curtains, no buttons, and no 2×2 box that you have to squeeze into. It’s a drop drown panel with a custom made background to fit your parties theme! It’s super cool, they add a little logo somewhere on the picture so you remember what event you went to & print them out so you can take home your very own copy. The camera is also engineered to enhance depth and blast the colors beyond the realm of photography!
Here are pics of me and my buddy Alvaro taken at THE ROXY for LA TWESTIVAL:
(we decided to act out a little story board, see if you can try and guess what our story is, haha)

When my dad started noticing that men (not boys) started smiling at me, he thought it would be a clever idea to buy me this fatty ring to wear on my engagement finger. I’m guessing he figured it would serve as a really expensive method of birth control (cause he knew i liked to wear pretty things). Though that’s not working out too well, I do appreciate his efforts, and this rock. Thanks dad. Don’t judge me when I say this, but I really want a wedding dress (minus the wedding ring, the man, and the little girls in curls frolicking behind). If it wasn’t awkward to go to parties, clubs, and other occasions in a long white dress, and have other women show up in their long white dresses (it would be like the new little black dress), that would be stellar, I WOULD.
My favorite wedding dresses are the ones that are BEYOND simple. The ones that are made with such basic fabrics such as sheer silks, chiffon, or even lace. Caroline Seikaly’s collection does just this. Notice how her designs create such resilient silhouettes; the low cuts, the loose fringes, to the silk braids make this collection breathe taking.
